Cologne-based sales company The Match Factory has added a second Wayne Wang film - The Princess Of Nebraska - to its sales lineup to join Wang's A Thousand Years Of Good Prayers which will have its international premiere in Toronto's Masters section and screen in competition at San Sebastian.

The Princess of Nebraska - which will have its world premiere in the Masters sidebar at Toronto on Sept 9 - follows 24 hours in the life of a young pregnant Chinese woman who breaks off from her studies in Omaha, Nebraska, to travel to San Francisco to abort the child and confront her lover's male friend.

Based on Yiyun Li's short story of the same name, A Thousand Years Of Good Prayers focuses on a widower from Beijing visiting his only daughter in the US, when she has a divorce, to help her recover from the trauma.

In Toronto, The Match Factory will also be presenting the world premiere of Hans Weingartner's Reclaim Your Brain - which will also be screening in competition in San Sebastian - and the North American premiere of Fatih Akin's Cannes competition title The Edge Of Heaven.
