Germansales company The Match Factory will handle international sales onKurdish-Iranian filmmaker Bahman Ghobadi'slatest feature Half Moon and Turkishdirector Ozer Kiziltan's Takva - A Man's Fear Of God which are bothhaving their world premieres at the forthcoming Toronto International FilmFestival.

Ghobadi's film, which is produced by his own companyMIJ Films with Paris-based Silkroad Production andthe New Crowned Hope Festival in Vienna, will be first shown in Toronto's Mozart's VisionaryCinema: New Crowned Hope section before screening later in September incompetition at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.

Kiziltan's feature debut, which was produced by Turkey's YeniSinemacilar with Golden FatihAkin's Hamburg-based production house CorazonInternational, will premiere in Toronto's Visions sidebar. Takva's story centres on a simple, devout Muslim who triesto truly live according to the requirements of 7th-century religiouslife, but is torn in his belief when he realises his inability to live free ofsin.
