Mexican powerhouse Titan Producciones is developing a new co-production with Argos Comunicacion, its partner on hit Sex, Shame And Tears, called Chilango Blues (El Malboro Y El Cucu), set to shoot in Mexico City next year.

Billed as a thriller, producer Javier Patron's debut feature tells the tale of two brothers' rocky reunion after one leaves prison. The script, written by Vicente Lenero, is based on a story by Guillermo Rios.

Founded by Matthias Ehrenberg, Titan is targeting wider markets through co-production deals with partners like Spain's Lolafilms and Plural Entertainment, and Brazil's Total Filmes. Titan also has a local distribution deal with 20th Century Fox.
