MGM Networks will launch a high definition version of Israel's The MGM Channel this spring that will be simulcast with the existing standard definition channel.
Starting this month, the service will begin broadcasting as part of the HD basic tier of Israeli DTH platform, YES.
Over the coming months, it will ramp up to a round-the-clock simulcast of The MGM Channel across Israel, subtitled in Hebrew.
MGM launched MGM HD in the US last October. The first HD launch for MGM Networks was its dedicated network for Poland in December 2006.
