Ethan Hunt is back, which means Tom Cruise gets to play with guns, ride motorbikes and climb things again – and boy, does this new trailer from Paramount make it look worth the wait.

In the fifth episode of the spy franchise, the intrepid agent and his pals must do battle with the Syndicate, a malign group that wants to destroy Hunt and his IMF associates.

Christopher McQuarrie wrote the film, which also stars Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Ving Rhames.

Paramount co-financed Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation with David Ellison’s Skydance Productions and will release the film in the US and UK on July 31.
