Parkland Pictures has recorded deals on Allies.

Rights for Dominic Burns’ WWII action film have gone to Entertainment One (eOne) for UK & North America and Zylo for France.

Joel Kennedy and Dan Fisher negotiated the deal for eOne with John Cairns and Pierre-Louis Manes-Murphy for Parkland Pictures and Andy Thompson for Summerwood Media.

Set in 1944 and inspired by true events, Allies follows British commandos led by a US captain on a mission behind enemy lines that could shorten the war.

Julian Overden, Chris Reilly, Edmund Kingsley and Matt Willis star in the film, produced by Thompson and written by Jeremy Sheldon.

Burns commented: “Couldn’t be happier to be working with the distributor of some of my favourite films; eOne is an incredibly exciting company, I’m immensely proud of Allies and I couldn’t imagine a safer pair of hands to place it in.”

Allies is currently in post-production and will be ready this summer.
