Legendary Entertainment has announced three promotions, while separately Steven Cardwell has joined Sundance Selects/IFC Films.

Alex Garcia is promoted to Legendary evp of production, Jillian Share to svp of production and Alex Hedlund to vp of production.

The three executives have been instrumental in such projects as the upcoming Godzilla, as well as 42, Pacific Rim and 300: Rise Of An Empire.

They will continue to report to Jon Jashni, Legendary’s president and COO.

Steven Cardwell (pictured) arrives as Sundance Selects/IFC as head of digital marketing.

In the newly created position, Cardwell will head all digital and social marketing initiatives for AMC Networks’ three film distribution labels – Sundance Selects, IFC Films and IFC Midnight.

He will report to Sundance Selects/IFC Films’ head of marketing Shani Ankori and previously served as worldwide marketing director for hit musical The Book Of Mormon.
