Memento Films International (MFI) has boarded international sales on the new documentary from the producers behind More Than Honey.
Energized is the new film by Hubert Canaval and explores questions of energy production and consumption. The film is produced by Allegro Film, which made More Than Honey, We Feed the World and Let’s Make Money.
Paris-based MFI will be introducing the films to buyers at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin this week, where a couple of market screenings will be held. Thimfilm will also release the film in Austria later this year. The deal was negotiated by Tanja Meissner, Head of Acquisitions at MFI and Constanze Schumann at Allegro Film.
This film documents attempts to tap the planet’s last oil and coal deposits and to “conceal the risks of nuclear energy”. It also claims to shed light on the impact of the gigantic water, wind and solar power plants, debunking popular myths about renewable energy.
