Lonergan wrote Manchester-By-The-Sea and Matt Damon is producing via his Pearl Street Films along with Kimberly Steward, Chris Moore of CMP and Kevin Walsh of B Story.

Steward will produce and finance through her new production label K Period Media, whose Lauren Beck and Josh Godfrey serve as executive producers.

Production is slated to commence in March in Massachusetts on the story of a man who takes custody of his deceased older brother’s teenage son and must adjust to a new way of living.

Things get complicated when the man’s ex-wife drifts in and out of his life.
