EXCLUSIVE: Steven Soderbergh’s The Christophers has been acquired by Picturehouse Entertainment for UK-Ireland, with a theatrical release planned for May 15.
Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel, Jessica Gunning and James Corden star in the Toronto world premiere, which Picturehouse acquired from Neon, with international sales continuing at the EFM.
The children of a once famous artist hire a forger to complete some unfinished, long ago abandoned canvases so they’ll have an inheritance when he dies.
Producers are Department M (US) and Butler & Sklar Productions (UK). Ed Solomon has written the script.
Neon releases the film theatrically in the US on April 10.
