EXCLUSIVE: Sylvia Chang-produced fantasy romance Measure In Love has been picked up for a slew of Asian territories ahead of its October release during the mid-autumn festival holiday.
Taiwanese sales company Applause Entertainment has sold the film to Hong Kong (Edko Films), Southeast Asia (Purple Plan), mainland China (QC Media) and Korea (AUD).
Taiwanese star Hsu Kuang-Han and Angela Yuen from Hong Kong play a couple who meet by fate after a massive earthquake splits the world in two and distorts time and gravity on both sides. One day in one zone equals one year in the other zone. A first look at the film can be seen above.
Shot entirely in Hong Kong, it marks the directorial feature debut of Hong Kong’s Kung Siu Ping, a seasoned assistant director whose credits include Overheard 2 and 3, and Chang-directed Love Education.
It is funded by Hong Kong’s Film Development Fund, along with Chang’s Hong Kong-based Red On Red Film. Among the co-producers are 1 Production Film Co., Abico Plus Entertainment and Taiwan Mobile’s MyVideo.
