In the latest episode of The Screen Podcast, the team reflects on this year’s virtual Sundance, and festival director Carlo Chartrian previews the 2022 Berlinale.

Screen International editor Matt Mueller, chief film critic and reviews editor Fionnuala Halligan and Americas editor Jeremy Kay assess the most interesting titles and key deals from Sundance (which ran Jan 20-30), and also discuss how well it worked as a virtual event for a second year in a row.

Then Halligan sits down with Berlin film festival director Chatrian, who shares his insights on the line-up and the overall shape of the festival, which kicks off on February 10.
