Universal Pictures has pushed upcoming Fast & Furious instalment F9 from April 2 2021 to Memorial Day weekend after MGM/Eon postponed No Time To Die to the same April date.
The action thriller starring Vin Diesel will open wide on May 28, 2021.
F9 had been scheduled to open this year on May 22 before the studio moved it into 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic.
Earlier on Friday (October 2) MGM/Eon and Universal pushed James Bond saga No Time To Die from November of this year to April 2021.
The 007 spy thriller had been set to open on November 20 in the US and Japan, after the November 12 launch in the UK and other key international markets.
