Screen Gems has promoted Nick Phillips from vice president of production to senior vice president of production.
Phillips will oversee production on select titles including the remake of the 1971 thriller Straw Dogs, which Rod Lurie will write and direct.
Phillips will continue to report to Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper. He will also oversee the production of Boulevard, which is part of the three-film deal with rapper T.I., as well as The Crossing and a remake of The Big Chill.
Prior to Screen Gems, Phillips worked at Dimensions Films from 1997 to 2005.
