Chris Warrington has been appointed head of UK marketing and Caragh Cook as head of UK publicity at London based company Organic Marketing.

Warrington joins Organic from Icon Film Distribution, where he worked as head of marketing for five years, overseeing theatrical and home entertainment on titles including West Is West, Drive and Paranormal Activity for which he won two BVA awards last year. Prior to Icon, he worked at UK independent distributor Tartan and American studio 20th Century Fox.

Cook joined Organic in January 2011 as senior account director in the UK publicity department, helping to build up Organic’s publicity business in the last eighteen months alongside Emma McCorkell, who was recently named deputy managing director of Organic’s business. 

Cook previously held the position of account director at Rogers & Cowan (London) and before that at DDA. She has worked on titles including The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Million Dollar Baby and most recently at Organic The Five Year Engagement and Snow White And The Huntsman.

Managing director Nick Leese, who founded Organic in 2006 as part of Target Media & Communications Group, said, “Over the last year we have really enhanced our publicity offering and with Emma now Deputy Managing Director we are delighted to promote Caragh to Head of UK Publicity.  Alongside Emma she has worked tirelessly to build our reputation and enhance the publicity business so I am particularly happy to see her take this more senior role here at Organic.  Chris joins our Marketing team from Icon and I am thrilled to welcome him and look forward to working with him over the coming months to build not only our marketing but also our digital offering to the industry.”

Its client list includes Artificial Eye, Disney, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Entertainment, G2, Icon, Kaleidoscope, Lionsgate, Metrodome, The Moët British Independent Film Awards, Optimum, Studio Canal and Universal.
