Transnational arts and human rights body Engendered has launched I View Film Festival 2010 designed to spotlight work from South Asian diaspora film-makers.
The festival is scheduled to screen more than 25 features and documentaries ranging from mainstream Bollywood, festival favorites and experimental cinema in New York from September 18-26.
Indian director Onir’s I Am will open the festival and programme highlights are expected to include the Sundance documentary Bhutto and Just Another Love Story.
