Inc Pagliuca has joined The Film Department from Nu Image/Millennium as vice president of international business affairs and will report to international president Steve Bickel.
Pagliuca will assume responsibility for the company's foreign distribution agreements and related documents and will work closely with international clients as well as finance, business and legal affairs teams.
Pagliuca has 16 years of experience in the international distribution sector. Apart from Nu Image/Millennium she served at Film Bridge International and Media Film International.
'As we are moving ahead quickly on our slate of pictures, filling this position has been a priority,' Bickel said. 'We anticipate a busy Cannes and are pleased to bring someone of Inc's experience into our company to handle this key responsibility.'
The Film Department recently commenced production on the romantic comedy The Rebound with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Bartha.
