The Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) is scheduled from January 3-14, 2013.

The gala honours individuals in the film industry with awards for acting, directing, achievement in film composition and lifetime achievement. 

Last year’s honorees included Jessica Chastain [pictured], George Clooney, Glenn Close, Stephen Daldry, Michel Hazanavicius, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Howard Shore, Octavia Spencer, Michelle Williams and the cast of Young Adult.
