Paramount Digital Entertainment has signed a three-year digital production deal with the producing team of Milchan/Van Eyssen to create exclusive original genre content for the internet and other digital media platforms.

Milchan/van Eyssen is led by Alexandra Milchan and David Van Eyssen. Milchan's producing credits include the current release Righteous Kill, Street Kings and Mirrors as well as upcoming titles like Jack, Wolf Of Wall Street, The Killer, Harbinger and Cyclops.

Van Eyssen is a film-maker of interactive content and produced the BMW film series, as well as the web-distributed rock opera BluMonster and an interactive CG version of Metropolis called M.

'Alexandra and David have just the right combination of traditional production experience and interactive expertise to create high quality original content on all the new digital platforms,' Paramount Digital Entertainment president Thomas Lesinski said.

'We are very excited to have found a home with Paramount Digital Entertainment, a proven leader in the digital entertainment space,' Milchan and Van Eyssen said in a statement. 'As film-makers, we feel that digital consumers are anticipating the next generation of storytelling through the web and other digital devices.

'We intend to expand the slate of digital content by delivering feature-length filmed entertainment that incorporates the basic principles of film-making: artistic imagery combined with intriguing storytelling and interactive elements that enhance the user experience.'

William Morris Agency brokered the deal.
