Richard Jenkins, Susan Sarandon and Julie Christie are the latest additions to the cast of political action thriller The Company You Keep from Voltage Pictures and Robert Redford’s Wildwood Enterprises.
Production is set to begin in Vancouver in September based on Lem Dobb’s adapted screenplay of Neil Gordon’s 2003 novel.
Redford will direct and star as a former member of radical group The Weather Underground who becomes a fugitive when an ambitious reporter tries to expose him.
The three new additions will portray former Weather Underground activists or people with links to that group. They join Shia LaBeouf and Sundance breakout Brit Marling in the cast.
Voltage is handling international sales on the project. Redford is producing with Bill Holderman and Voltage chief Nicolas Chartier. Craig J Flores of Voltage serves as executive producer.
