Irish producer Noel Pearson, an Academy Award nominee for MyLeft Foot, willfollow his recent Maeve Binchy adaptation, Tara Road, with How About You' based on a Binchy short story.

Adapted by Jean Pasley and directed by Anthony Byrne, HowAbout You' is acomic tale about a clash between the generations which builds over theChristmas period in a retirement home. The cast includes Vanessa Redgrave,Imelda Staunton, Brenda Fricker, Joss Ackland, Orla Brady and Hayley Atwell(one of Screen International's 2006 Stars of Tomorrow).

The film will shoot for six weeks from Oct 24 in CountyWicklow in the Republic of Ireland and for one week in County Down in NorthernIreland.
