UK distributor Revolver Entertainment has picked up two new Focus Features to be distributed in the UK - Heitor Dhalia’s Adrift and Jim Jarmursh’s The Limits of Control.

It follows the success of Cary Joji Fukunaga’s Sin Nombre, the first Focus title to be snapped up by Revolver for the UK.

Revolver chief executive, Justin Marciano, said: “We’re glad to again be the trusted partner in the UK for Focus Features on two such powerful pieces of cinema.”

Set on Brazil’s Buzios beaches in the early 1980s, Adrift follows a young girl coming of age during a glorious summer.  Directed by newcomer Heitor Dhalia, it confirms his reputation as one of the brightest talents emerging from South America. The cast is led by Laura Neiva, lVincent Cassel and Débora Bloch.

Jarmusch’s s latest offering – the Spanish-set The Limits of Control - is an  off-beat variation on the conventional hitman movie, with Isaach De Bankolé heading a cast that also iincludes Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Gael Garcia Bernal, Paz de la Huerta and Bill Murray.  The film was shot by Chris Doyle.
