UK distributor Revolver Entertainment is to distribute Sacha Bennett’s gangland feature Bonded By Blood, which begins shooting next month.

The film, based on the best selling book by Bernard O’Mahoney, tells the story behind the infamous Rettendon Range Rover murders in 1995. The incident has previously been depicted in such earlier British gangster films as Essex Boys and Rise Of The Footsoldier.

Bonded by Blood has a cast led by Kierston Wareing, Tamer Hassan, Vincent Regan, Terry Stone, Emily Beecham, Adam Deacon,, Neil  Maskell,  Dave Legeno and Susie Amy.

The film is being billed as the first “to accurately bring this brutal and uncompromising story to the big screen”.  It will cover the lead up to the brutal killings – including drug shipments, the tortures, the murders – and provide graphic insight into the men behind the gangland operations the led to the deaths of the notorious underworld figures.

It has been written by Graeme Muir and produced by Terry Stone and Daniel Toland. Executive producers are Caroline Bennett, Ajay Parkash, Sudir Taparia, Mike Diamond, Tony Jimenez, Terry Byrne and Kevin Cash.
