Hot off her second $100m-plus film of the year, Sandra Bullock will receive the 25th Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s American Riviera Award on February 5.

Bullock stars in The Blind Side, which crossed $100m at the North American box office over the weekend. Last summer The Proposal amassed $164m domestically and close to $300m worldwide.

The American Riviera Award was established “to recognise an actor who has had a strong influence on American Cinema.” Former recipients include Mickey Rourke, Tommy Lee Jones, Forrest Whitaker, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kevin Bacon and Diane Lane.

The festival runs from February 4-14, 2010
