New York-based distributor Screen Media will introduce three new theatrical projects to buyers in Cannes through its new sales arm Screen Media Ventures.

Walker Payne is a small-town drama about a man forced to make heart-breaking choices to save his two daughters and stars Judd Payne, Jason Patric and Sam Shepard.

Matt Williams directed from his own screenplay and David Garber of Lantern Lane Entertainment is representing US rights.

Jeremy Saulnier directed the horror-comedy Murder Party about a Halloween party guest who unwittingly walks into the trap of a murderous collective.

Skei Saulnier and Chris Sharp are producing and Chris Sharp, Alex Barnett, William Lacey and Paul Goldblatt star. Ronna Wallace of Eastgate Pictures is handling US rights.

Action title Disappearances stars Kris Kristofferson, Gary Farmer, Luis Guzman and Genevieve Bujold in the story of a reluctant whisky smuggler who embarks on a treacherous journey with his son.

Jay Craven directed and Mark Donadio served as producer. Screen Media Films will release in North America.

Screen Media's president Robert Baruc, vice president Suzanne Blech, and director of international sales Michael Dwyer will attend the market.
