Weber and Caldecot Chubb are producing and principal photography is set to begin on September 2 in Michigan on the story of a secret serviceman and FBI agent who team up to locate three nuclear devices hidden in the US. Mark Lindsay at Kimmel International is handling worldwide rights and will begin pre-sales in Cannes.
Unthinkable marks the second collaboration between Jordan and Weber following the Brett Easton Ellis adaptation The Informers, which stars Kim Basinger, Billy Bob Thorton, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke and will open in North America through Senator later this year.
Senator is also fast-tracking the adaptation of Capcom's hit video game franchise Clock Tower. The company has optioned the Brad Kessler novel Birds In Fall, which Roberts' Red Om Films will produce along with Senator's Weber and Vanessa Coifman, and recently acquired North American, German and Spanish rights to the sci-fi thriller Splice starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley.
