Columbia and MGM have moved the release of Quantum Of Solace back by one week to November 14 to capitalise on the Thanksgiving Holiday and Warner Bros' decision last week to push back Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince from November 21 to July 2009.

In the wake of Warner Bros' move, Summit Entertainment moved its highly anticipated vampire saga Twilight to November 21.

'We saw the film recently in London and Marc Forster, Daniel Craig and the entire team at EON have truly delivered another extraordinary Bond adventure,' the Columbia Tristar Motion Picture Group's chairman of worldwide marketing and distribution Jeff Blake said.

'Quantum of Solace is a seamless continuation of the storyline that began with the last film. We believe November 14 is a great date that allows us to play straight through Thanksgiving and right into Christmas.'

Prince William and Prince Harry will attend the world premiere of the 22nd James Bond adventure on October 29 in London. The film will begin its worldwide roll out on October 31.
