Madrid-based production company Zebra Films is preparing three new feature films including the as-yet-untitled next project from recent best original script Goya Award winner Antonio Hernandez (The City Of No Limits).

The project is a surreal mystery with a twist about a woman haunted by her dead lover. Zebra chief Antonio Saura says the film may shoot in English. He is currently in talks with potential co-producers outside Spain.

Zebra is also prepping the second solo film from director Saura Medrano (Just Run!) with an anticipated Euros 3m budget. Titled El Ultimo and written by Juan Martinez (Two Tough Guys), the tale turns on the fear that sets in on a small village when dead bodies begin turning up.

Finally, Zebra is prepping 'Nine Queens-esque' black comedy Agallas from directors Samuel Matiz Mateo and Andres Luque about a criminal who gains the confidence of a drug dealer in order to try to take over his position. Zebra is also pending release on small-time crooks comedy Two Tough Guys through Buena Vista International Spain this summer.
