Long-gestating wildlife feature documentary The Turtle's Song, on Sola Media's slate here, has been given a name change and has recruited Miranda Richardson as narrator.

The film will now be known as The Turtle's Incredible Journey. It should finally be ready in time for the Berlinale in February.

Just prior to the market, Sola Media closed further deals on animated feature Sunshine Barry and The Disco Worms. The film, which receives its world market premiere today, has been pre-sold to around 60 territories. The new buyers are David (Mexico) and Delta (Peru.) However, most English-language territories remain open.

Sola Media has also added a new animated title to its slate, Lotte And The Moonstone Mystery, a sequel to Lotte From Gadgetville, which will be ready by 2010.

The company also recently acquired Connie Walther's Rome Festival entry, Long Shadows. Starring Tatja Seibtm Uwe Kockisch and Eva Mattes, the film follows a one-time terrorist, and member of the 'second generation of the Red Army Faction,' released from prison after 22 years. All rights are available excluding Germany, where it will be handled by Salzgeber.

Also on the company's AFM slate is Tengri - Blue Heavens, the Kyrgyzstan Oscar submission.
