Swedish actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, Bad Boys II) is to voice a schizophrenic hedgehog in NonStop Sales' Gnomes AndTrolls The Secret Chamber. The versatile Stormare is then to voice acompletely different role, that of Leif The Gnome King, in the sequel.

'The hedgehog will be not be part of number two,' producer Carl JohanMerner of White Shark AB commented of Stormare's role switch.

Svensk SF will be handling the theatrical release of the 3D animatedfairytale in Nordic territories and Iceland. Gnomes and Trolls TheSecret Chamber will go out in Sweden on between 20 and 40 prints inSpring 2009.

'SF has a long and successful history in both production anddistribution for children and family films. It's very exciting to workwith Gnomes and Trolls The Secret Chamber as it is something brand newwithin Swedish 3D animation for children', Tobias Lenner, head of theSwedish department, commented of the pick up.

The Secret Chamber is the story Junior, a teenage gnome who embarks ona heroic journey together with his best friend Sneaky, a paranoidneurotic crow. Their adventure takes them across vast landscapes andinto epic encounters with bizarre animals.

Gnomes and Trolls has now sold to 74 countries. The sequel, Gnomes andTrolls The Forest Trial has sold to over 60 countries. Svensk has afirst-look to take Swedish rights on the second Gnomes and Trollsmovie, which will be ready by Cannes 2009.

The films have been made by White Shark AB together with Oscarnominated executive producers Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow (the writersof Toy Story and Garfield).
