Summit Entertainment has optioned the action screenplay The Tomb by Miles Chapman which is currently in development.

Jeff Wadlow will direct the project and Jason Keller has been hired to rewrite. The Tomb marks Summit's second collaboration with Wadlow after Never Back Down. He also directed Cry_Wolf for Rogue Pictures.

The Tomb features a character called Ray Breslin who is the world's foremost authority on structural security and whose ingenuity and knowledge are put to work when he has to escape from the master prison of his own design and find the person who put him there.

'The Tomb has the potential to be a whipsmart franchise, introducing us to a totally new kind of action hero who uses brains, not brawn, to get out of trouble,' said Summit's president of production Erik Feig.

Feig and Summit's vice president of production Jean Song will oversee the project for the company

Wadlow is repped by WMA and manager Pete Donaldson. Keller is repped by CAA and manager Guymon Casady at Management 360.
