Leading LA production, financing and sales outfit Summit Entertainment arrives in Berlin with a slate of new pictures led by Lindsay Lohan thriller I Know Who Killed Me, Berlin Generation 14Plus entry The Fall, Sundance award winner Once, and the previously announced John Woo epic Red Cliff.

360 Pictures' I Know Who Killed Me is currently in production and stars Julia Ormond and Spencer Garrett alongside Lohan. The story centres on the case of a wholesome girl who goes missing and reappears weeks later, claiming to be a hard-nosed stripper who bears the torture marks of a wanted serial killer. Screen Gems holds US rights to the film which is being directed by Chris Sivertson from a screenplay by Jeff Hammond and produced by Frank Mancuso Jr.

The Fall, which had its world premiere at Toronto last autumn, stars newcomer Catinca Untaru as an injured youngster who is regaled by a hospitalized stuntman's tall stories that begin to blend fantasy and reality. Hot UK commercials director Tarsem Singh directed the David Fincher and Spike Jonze presentation from a screenplay he co-wrote with Dan Gilroy and Nico Soultanakis.

Summit also brings Once after picking up worldwide rights excluding Ireland to John Carney's crowd-pleasing Irish musical that won the Sundance World Cinema Audience Award. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova star as a busker and a Czech immigrant who fall in love and write and record a series of songs depicting their story within the space of an eventful week.

Red Cliff, Woo's all-star $60m account of the legendary ancient Chinese battle, is currently in pre-production. It is set to star Chow Yun-Fat, Tony Leung, Zhang Fengyi and Chi-Ling Lin. Woo and Terence Chang are producing through Lion Rock Productions from a screenplay Woo co-wrote with Kuo Zheng and Chen Han. Principal photography is set to begin next month.

Summit president and chief executive officer Patrick Wachsberger is attending with a team that comprises executive vice president and head of London operations David Garrett and senior vice president of sales Ralpho Borgos.

The company's slate also includes the Walden Media-produced children's fantasy Bridge To Terabithia and Mike Newell's lavish Gabriel Garcia Marquez adaptation Love In The Time Of Cholera starring Liev Schreiber, Laura Harring, Javier Bardem, John Leguizamo and Catalina Sandino Moreno. Several new scripts are also expected to be unveiled.
