The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences has announced that ten live-action short films have made it on to the shortlist.
Seventy-one pictures qualified in the category and the nominees will be announced on February 2 in the run-up to the 82nd Academy Awards on March 7.
The ten films in alphabetical order are: The Door (pictured); The Ground Beneath; Hotel; Instead Of Abracadabra; Kavi; Miracle Fish; The New Tenants; The Response; Short Term 12; and Sidney Turtlebaum.
