Producer Tucker Tooley has joined Los Angeles-based Relativity Media
as head of creative and will lead development and production for
Relativity's single film business and oversee growth of the production
team.

Tooley and Relativity principal Ryan Kavanaugh will work closely on
such upcoming releases as David Twohy's thriller A Perfect Getaway,
James Mangold's Western 3:10 To Yuma starring Russell Crowe and
Christian Bale that Lionsgate will release on September 7, Middle Kingdom with Jackie Chan and Jet Li, and Brian De Palma's prequel The
Untouchables: Capone Rising.

The single film business is separate from Relativity's slate financing
activities, which in recent years has seen the company structure more
than $4.2bn in production financing for the US majors.

'Our business model has expanded over the last year in such a way that
it was important to have a thoughtful, creative producer on staff to
support our rapid growth into development and physical production,'
Kavanaugh said.

'Tucker brings a breadth of experience, knowledge and relationships to
Relativity and the skills to help us continue the growth of the
company's vision.'

'Relativity is at the forefront of the new blend of financial and
creative management that is necessary to bring successful features to
life,' Tooley added. 'Ryan is a visionary and I couldn't resist the
opportunity to work with him and help his company grow.'

Tooley's most recent credits include Shadowboxer starring Helen Mirren
and Cuba Gooding Jr, and A Man Apart with Vin Diesel. Upcoming Tooley
Productions projects include A Perfect Getaway and We're The Millers
for New Line.
