Next year’s festival will run in New York City from Apr 18-29.

Meanwhile Tribeca Film Institute has announced submissions are open for Tribeca All Access, TFI Documentary Fund, Latin America Media Arts Fund and the TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund.

Since Tribeca was launched in 2002 festival organisers say they have screened more than 1,200 international films, drawn an audience of more than 3.5million and generated an estimated $725m in economic activity for the city.
