Kim Mordaunt’s Australian entry [pictured] has won The Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature, Tribeca Film Festival top brass announced on Thursday evening [25].

The Rocket’s Sitthiphon Disamoe was named best actor in a narrative feature, while best actress went to Veerle Baetens for The Broken Circle Breakdown (Netherlands-Belgium).

The cinematography prize went to Marius Matzow Gulbrandsen for Before Snowfall, while screenplay top honours were awarded to Carl Joos and Felix van Groeningen for The Broken Circle Breakdown.

The best new narrative director prize was awarded to Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais for Whitewash (Canada).

In the World Documentary Competition the best documentary feature went to The Kill Team (US) by Dan Krauss while best editing in a documentary feature was presented to Nels Bangerter for Let The Fire Burn (US).

Sean Dunne prevailed in the best new documentary director stakes for Oxyana.

The 2013 best narrative short prize went to The Nightshift Belongs To The Stars (Italy) by Edoardo Ponti and best documentary short honours were awarded to Coach (US) by Bess Kargman.

The Student Visionary Award went to Life Doesn’t Frighten Me (Canada) by Stephen Dunn.

The inaugural 2013 Bombay Sapphire Award For Transmedia was presented to Sandy Storyline created by Rachel Falcone, Laura Gottesdiener, and Michael Premo (USA).

The 2013 Tribeca Online Festival winners voted on by the public were as follows:
