Kevin Tsujihara has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president, new media, at Warner Bros, signalling an attempt by the studio to bring all of its new media initiatives under one overseer.
Tsujihara will coordinate all new media activities within Warner - including Warner Bros Online and Entertaindom - as well as serving as Warner's point person with Time Warner Digital Media and America Online.
His first order of business will be to oversee the dramatic relaunch and repositioning of Warner Bros Online as well as the development of original content for the internet which is currently being created by Warner Bros divisions.
Tsujihara joined the studio in 1994, later becoming vice president, corporate projects, and then in 1998, senior vice president of strategic planning and development.
