Uwe Boll is lining up a summer shoot in New York for the $7.5m horror sequel and video game adaptation Alone In The Dark 2.
Boll, in Cannes to handle sales on the upcoming video game adaptations Far Cry starring Til Schweiger and Postal, among others, will announce the director and casting shortly.
Alone In The Dark starred Christian Slater and sold 1.1million DVDs in North America following its 2005 release.
Scheduling conflicts mean that Boll will not direct the sequel as he will be on the Vancouver set of Far Cry, which is gearing up for a Jun 15 start.
Meanwhile Postal will open in North America on Sept 28 through Freestyle Releasing, followed by DVD roll-out through Universal.
