Eight-screen cinema to be first Dolby Atmos equipped site in Scotland.

Vue is opening a new 1000-seat multiplex cinema in Glasgow today. A private gala was held last night at Vue Glasgow Fort, screening Turbo.

The fully digital, eight-screen cinema (including three 3D capable screens) will include a VueXtreme auditorium (with a screen the size of four double-decker buses). It will be the first cinema in Scotland to offer Dolby’s new Atmos sound platform.

Vue Glasgow Fort is part of a stand-alone extension of Glasgow Fort Shopping Park. The cinema is situated above five new restaurants.
