Fatih Akin's The Edge Of Heaven won the best juried fiction feature award at the tenth annual Miami & Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festivals over the weekend.

Guido Santi and Tina Mascara's Chris & Don: A Love Story about the love affair between Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy won the juried documentary prize.

Shamjim Sarifis' Indian lesbian drama The World Unseen was the winner of the audience award and Scott Bloom's Call Me Troy about the Reverend Troy Perry was the documentary audience favourite.
