Universal's vice president of creative services Julie Berk has been promoted to senior vice president of the division.

Berk formed the creative services department when she joined the studio in 1995 as director of creative advertising. She was promoted to vice president in 2000.

Over the last 12 years she has streamlined theatrical print advertising production and broadened the department's scope to encompass newspaper, magazine, corporate and trade advertising, promotional items, publicity materials and award campaigns, among others.

Berk who reports to marketing president Eddie Egan, will also assume responsibility for developing theatrical feature campaign strategies and budgets, including the creative development, production and delivery of key art and oversight of outside graphics agencies.

Prior to Universal she was an art director and account executive at Graphic Orb.
