Eddie Michaels, chief executive officer and president of Beverly Hills-based publicity and marketing firm Insignia Inc, has promoted the company's six-year senior associate Erik Bright (pictured) to vice president and partner.

Bright will continue to head the company's film and television production publicity division as well as manage and oversee media strategies for many of the company's production company, corporate, special events, and consumer brand clients.

During his tenure, Bright has spearheaded the company's work with consumer brands including the broadband entertainment service ClickStar, and he leads Insignia's representation of film and television content at global festivals including Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca, and Toronto.

Under Bright's supervision, the company's production publicity division has represented such films as Sideways, Little Miss Sunshine, Crash, The Matador, and upcoming titles including Fireflies In The Garden starring Julia Roberts and Emily Watson and The Girl In The Park with Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth.

Insignia's production company and corporate clients include The Producers Guild of America, The Mark Gordon Company, Electric Entertainment, Senator Entertainment, Revelations Entertainment, The Johnson-Roessler Company, and film-makers Gregory Hoblit and Jonathan Mostow.

Bright joined Insignia in 2001, when the firm was known as Eddie Michaels & Associates.
