Cannes Directors Fortnight bookended by debuts from Corbijn, Kogut

This year's Directors Fortnight will open at Cannes with Anton Corbijn's Control, a biopic of late Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. The closing film is also a first film, Mutum, from Brazilian director Sandra Kogut.In total 23 films round out the main selection with nine first time features which are also eligible for the Camera d'Or prize.
