EXCLUSIVE: Celluloid Dreams has picked up Noah Baumbach comedy Frances Ha [pictured] and closed deals for France (Memento), Australia (Transmission) and Benelux (A-Film), with further sales imminent.

The Telluride and Toronto hit, previously picked up by IFC Films from UTA for US, stars Greta Gerwig as an apprentice in a dance company who faces life’s challenges with unusual lightness and joy.

Baumbach wrote the script with Gerwig and also produces alongside Lila Yacoub, Scott Rudin, and Rodrigo Teixeira.

Celluloid’s slate includes Dormant Beauty, Greetings From Tim Buckley and Outrage Beyond.

Earlier in the market the French outfit announced buzzy horror Western Bone Tomahawk.
