Shooting in China will be the central focus of the second Locations World trade show, which is running alongside this year's Filmart.

A record 13 mainland Chinese production services providers are taking part for the first time, including Hengdian Chinese Film Industrial Park, China Film Group Digital Film Production Base, Shanghai Film Park and Wuxi Movie & TV Production Base of CCTV.

Various regional tourism boards from Anhui, Guangzhou and Zhuhai, which double as location services providers will also present.

One of the highlights will be the new Kunming TV, Film and New Media Industry Base, a joint venture project between Hong Kong director Stanley Tong's China International Media Group and Dianchi National Tourist Resort.

The project is designed as an all-in-one complex integrating film and TV shooting, production facilities, a film school and tourism facilities. The first phase will be built on 5000 acres in Kunming, Yunnan province.

Other exhibitors include Thailand Film Office, Film Development Council of the Philippines and Film New Zealand. Locations World is organized by Hong Kong Film Services Office and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
