Peter Hore, the chief executive of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund, will retire as (CTBF) on November 15. The fund is currently seeking a replacement.

He will continue to work as a consultant for the charity, which provides practical and financial support for workers in the film and TV industries.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed the past decade as Chief Exec of the CTBF. The Fund has accomplished some great things during this time and I’m sure it will continue to go from strength to strength,” Hore said.

Hore joined the CTBF in 2000, and oversaw the redevelopment of a retirement village for industry veterans, Glebelands, in Berkshire, and helped establish the John Brabourne Awards, which encourage new talent to drive forward their careers.
