LA-based Shoreline Entertainment has brought two new titles into the fold heading into AFM and will be hoping to tempt buyers next week with Easier With Practice and Clash.

Easier With Practice was directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez and won the 2009 CineVegas Grand Jury Prize. It will screen at FI Fest on November 4.

Brian Geraghty of The Hurt Locker plays a young writer on a road trip to promote his unpublished novel who gets involved in a mysterious long distance relationship.

Pepe Diokno’s Filipino gang drama Clash (Engkwentro) won the Luigi De Laurentiis Award and Venice Horizons Award at Venice. The film chronicles the last 24 hours of two teenage brothers on opposite sides of a gang war.

Shoreline’s director of acquisitions Brandon Paine and executive vice-president Sam Eigen brokered both deals with the respective directors.

Acquisitions associate Tim Tahir helped on Clash and producer Cookie Carosella and producer’s rep David Garber of Lantern Lane Entertainment were involved in talks on Easier With Practice.
