Park Pictures’ comedy-drama starring Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon was a Sundance favourite from the moment it screened in the Premieres section last Friday. Goldwyn and SPWA jointly acquired North American rights and will partner on the US release.

In addition SPWA has acquired all media rights for Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe including Russia. 

Langella plays an elderly man in the grip of dementia who develops a strong rapport with a caretaker robot, voiced by Peter Saarsgard. Jake Schreier directed and Liv Tyler and James Marsden round out the key cast.

Galt Niederhoffer, Sam Bisbee, Jackie Kelman Bisbee and Lance Accord produce. Robot And Frank is Park Pictures Features’ first film and was produced in association with White Hat Entertainment and Dog Run Pictures Simon.
