Marc Gareton has been promoted to executive vice president of international, at Warner Bros Digital Distribution (WBDD).

Gareton will continue to oversee the studio's digital strategy, partnerships in digital services and emerging business activities outside the US. He reports to WBDD president Thomas Gewecke.

Prior to the promotion Gareton served as senior vice president of international and before that he was senior vice president of business decision support for Warner Home Video.

He previously managed Warner Home Video's global business transformation project where he led a massive change initiative affecting the business model, structure and processes of the division.

He joined Warner Home Video in 1995 in a senior marketing role in France before being promoted to managing director of Australia and New Zealand and then to senior vice president of Canada, Latin America and Australia/New Zealand.

Prior to joining Warner Home Video, Gareton held management positions with Group Moulinex-Krups.
