Sony’s action-comedy hits US cinemas on July 24.
The first trailer has landed for Sony’s Pixels.
Directed by Chris Colombus and based on a short film by Patrick Jean, the action-comedy sees large versions of 80s video games, including Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, attack Earth whose only hope rests will a team of all-star gamers.
Pixels stars Adam Sandler, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Kevin James and Michelle Monaghan, and the trailer gives a hint that the film will see high-profile cameos, ending with an encounter between Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani and his creation.
The film is released on July 24 in the US. Watch the trailer below.
